We will be participating in the @artcarbootsale_glasgow one-day event on Sunday :). See our usual selection of original artworks and publications from our press and we’ll be in great company so come along and support your local art scene, chat to us and get your hands on something gorgeous. Here is a selection of the works we have for sale alongside our art books and editions:
‘A Shard in my Eye’ (2024) by Jonny Walker, glass, fluorescent lights and metal, 400 x 400mm
@jonnyjwalker is an artist based in Glasgow working primarily in sculpture. Their work explores influence, permeability and tension, led by an interest in sites of interaction between individuals, objects and wider systems. Inducing material transformations, they create ‘scenes’ of interconnected objects frozen in silent dramas.
‘entrapment’ (2022) by Luke Shand, 508 x 990mm
@luke.shand.art seeks to reanimate queer histories through his artistic practice. Using painting and installation queer histories are reactivated through processes that bring together existing archival materials and auto-fictional elements. Through his work he attempts to enmesh remnants of the autobiographical with archival relics to inform new understandings of queer histories.
‘Knife 31’ (2025) by Eden Dodd, handmade mirror, 350 x 80 x 10mm @delicatelyspirallingupwards
Eden is a Welsh visual artist based in Glasgow. In her practice she finds resonance with fragmented states, exploring the spaces between different planes of existence, dichotomies, and the interplay between the physical and ethereal. Dualities, reflections, and the concept of the double are central to her artistic language, rooted in the belief that ‘the other always exists within the self.’

@suds_mckenna is an Irish artist based in Glasgow. McKenna works across drawing, sculpture, printmaking and airbrush painting. Depicting populated scenes of social and individual bodies, his work recites industrialised figurative traditions, most commonly those of entertainment and advertising: cartooning, commercial illustration and leisure amusements.
About The Event
Art Car Boot Sale, Scotland’s biggest contemporary art market, returns to SWG3 on Sunday 13 July for its seventh edition.
More than an art fair, the Art Car Boot Sale provides an opportunity for individual artists to showcase and sell their artworks directly to the public. For those who value the place of art in our lives, as well as those looking for a beautiful object to live with, the Art Car Boot Sale is an occasion to acquire the next masterpiece at an accessible price and support the arts community that continues to transform the city.
This curated pop-up edition of the Art Car Boot Sale brings together artists and artist-led organisations from across Glasgow and wider; including Claire Barclay, Scott Myles, Xinyi Yang, Wendy McMurdo, Chris Leslie, Amanda Saeibæk and Calum Matheson – with the full line up of artists participating in the 2025 edition to be announced soon.
Alongside the event there will be a variety of street food vendors and DJ’s to deliver a super Sunday.
The event will run from 10am til 6pm on Sunday 13 July, with ticket information below.
