Charli Kleeman

Charli Kleeman is a Glasgow-based artist who graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2025, receiving the Chair’s Medal for Fine Art and selection for RSA New Contemporaries. Despite being at an early career stage, they have an extensive exhibition history, both nationally and abroad, across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool, and London and in Leipzig. Notable shows include Underworlds at Seventeen Gallery (Haggerston) and a recent solo showcase for the Liverpool Independents Biennial at Port Sunlight Stables.

Their work has been featured in Plaster MagazineMetal Magazine, and the London Art Roundup. Charli is an active member of the feminist welding collective Slaghammer’s,  and is currently aiding the establishment of a fabrication workshop in Port Dundas aimed at supporting large-scale making practices. Alongside their own work, they regularly collaborate with other artists as a fabricator and technical assistant.
