Clara is a Scotland-based multidisciplinary artist interested in the everyday entanglement of language, infrastructure and affect.Working primarily with sound combined with moving image, installation,
and writing, their practice is shaped by the failures and possibilities of language, and of sonic mediums as a way to approach the ineffable.

They are thinking about the tensions inherent in the partiality of knowledge; how the institutional formatting of space, memory, and imagination – through policy, planning, infrastructural projects, and archives – intersects with lived and felt realities.

Clara will be exhibiting in the group show ‘River is/as’ within ‘Extense‘, curated by 16 Collective in collaboration with FieldARTS, as part of Glasgow International Festival 2026.
